Can Majoral

Vino Turgent – English

Varieties
Syrah.

Organic farming

Winemaking
Maceration with submerged cap during 3 weeks in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 25ºC. Twelve months in new and one year French Quercus petraea oak barrels. This wine has not been cold stabilized; therefore, there can be tartaric precipitations.

Tasting notes
Its name gives a clue about the wine. Turgent, means turgid, straining, swelling, and, indeed, this is a wine that swells in the mouth. It makes it full and finely tannic. The wine has an intense cherry color with violet edges. On the nose, powerful aromas of leather, spices (mainly clove) and burnt sugar. Because of its unique characteristics, it can be enjoyed immediately, but kept under appropriate conditions will develop new nuances in the bottle during the early years. It goes well with hearty dishes, strong cheeses, red meats, game, etc.
